Their food is amazing. Had their all you can chicken Sunday special. Not only is the chicken all you can eat but so are their sides. They were really busy when we came in so we thought we'd be waiting a while but they are a well oiled machine, they had our food out quick. Service is amazing, everyone is friendly and helpful there was no "let me get your server" everyone was willing to help you no matter if you were their table or not. Absolutely love this place.
All really amazing I love the lady I forgot her name thst she respected me and my friend white guy we r deaf she is very friendly and kindly nice to chat with us also food really awesome plus buses boy wow fast clean up set up very cooperative. I talked with my friend we will come there next month with our friends visit love my favorite food all of them yummy I voted number 1
Welcome to the old west with this saloon decor BBQ joint. Come for the vibe, great service and cheap "gold rush" beer. $1.50 a beer in a ice cold glass is hard to beat even if it's really just Landshark beer. This was my second visit and while the apps - onion rings (thin & highly recommended) and fried zucchini were excellent the ribs which are the main attraction were dry this time. Better last time. I can't say that I'm entirely crazy about the sauces they offer. There are three types if I recall on the table - gold rush that the ribs are basted in along with a lighter golden and oddly a stevia option that we refused to try. Hate stevia. Fries and included cornbread in a tin serving plate were good. One of our guests had the catfish and seemed pleased with it. If you are looking for a fun fairly priced spot in Venice Gold Rush is a great choice.
Great place for ribs!!! We came in Thursday and it was an All You Can Eat St Louis Spare Rib night!! They have terrific sides and you get 2 with your meal. They have a select draft beer list and the beer is served super ice cold in a frosted mug. The decor is as though you are in an open campsite with fire (fake of course) at the top of the center of the dining room. Our server Erik V (Be sure to ask for him) was outstanding and super attentive. If you are hungry this is the place to satisfy your appetite. When in Venice make it a point to stop in.

AWESOME ... Dominick is amazing. Very knowledgeable and helpful .. had the ribs and they were the bomb! Also had the pork tenderloin sandwich was amazing delicious. Great service. Great people. Shame on me for eating everything and failing to take pictures. Lol.
Hands down the best BBQ in the area. Whenever we are in the Venice area we find time to have a meal here. They have a huge selection of BBQ meats and seafood as well as a long list of delicious side dishes. I always get a chicken/pork platter. All desserts are made in house. The best part of all though are the $1.49 pints of ice cold beer! Service has always been impeccable and everyone is friendly and happy to serve you. Always a pleasure to stop in at Gold Rush.
